Orphan sponsorship is one of the key projects Nigeria Muslim Forum UK undertake. It is highly recommended in Islam to look after the needy especially orphans, as Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him has clearly stated that those who look after orphans will be raised side by side with him on the day of judgment.
The programme is run in conjunction with partners in the host community. These are charitable organisations who are able to monitor judicious use of funds to this orphans, their welfare and performance in schools. All requests for Orphan Sponsorship are subjected to vigorous appraisals before any approval. We call on all our brothers and sisters to consider sponsoring orphans as this is one of the highest virtues of faith. Suggestions were made as to how NMF UK can secure sponsorship for its orphans.
